Current and Upcoming Exhibitions at the Whitney Museum


The Whitney Museum is currently showcasing several exhibitions. 'Sixties Surreal' is on view through January 19, featuring life-size camel sculptures. 'Grace Rosario Perkins: Circles, Spokes, Zigzags, Rivers' runs until February 8, presenting colorful abstract graffiti. 'High Wire: Calder’s Circus at 100' is available until March 9, celebrating the centennial of Calder's circus creations. 'Ken Ohara: CONTACTS' is also on display through February 8.
Additionally, 'Untitled' (America) and 'Claes Oldenburg: Drawn f
rom Life' are featured, with the latter running from July 5, 2025, to April 2026. The Hyundai Terrace Commission by Marina Zurkow and 'Mary Heilmann: Long Line' are both available until January 11. 'Marina Zurkow: Parting Worlds' and 'Shifting Landscapes' are also part of the current offerings, with the latter ending on January 25.
Upcoming exhibitions include a Roy Lichtenstein retrospective opening in 2026 and the Whitney Biennial 2026, set to begin in March 2026. The museum also offers online exhibitions through its 'artport' platform, featuring digital art projects such as Robert Nideffer's '12 Years in Azeroth' and Frank WANG Yefeng's 'The Levitating Perils #2'.
