Sixteen Exhibitions to See in South Florida During Miami Art Week

Miami Art Week 2025 presents a range of exhibitions across South Florida, showcasing diverse artistic expressions. Highlights include Joyce Pensato's comprehensive survey at the Institute of Contemporary Art Miami, running from 2 December 2025 to 15 March 2026. This exhibition covers her work from the 1970s to the 2010s, featuring early Batman drawings and Mickey Mouse renderings.

At the ArtNexus Space, 'Mulheres: Proposals from Brazil' opens on 3 December 2025 and continues until 24 April 2026. The exhibition features 50 Brazilian artists, including Lygia Clark and Adriana Varejão, exploring themes of patriarchy and colonial legacies.

The Bass Museum of Art hosts 'Jack Pierson: The Miami Years' until 16 August 2026, focusing on Pierson's work influenced by South Florida's queer community. His new installation, 'ARRAY (MIAMI)', combines ephemeral materials with his artistic output.

Lawrence Lek's 'NOX Pavilion' at The Bass, running until 26 April 2026, examines posthuman conditions through multimedia installations. The exhibition includes a new video commissioned for an LED wall.

The Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum presents 'MOSAICO: Italian Code of a Timeless Art' until 22 February 2026. The exhibition features restored mosaic fragments from Caligula's ship and digital representations of Italian mosaics.
